Elementor has introduced an innovative feature called “Floating Buttons» that makes it easy for visitors to start conversations on websites. These floating buttons can be positioned as sticky buttons anywhere on the web page and expand when clicked to display various contact options or activate a connected messaging platform, such as email, WhatsApp, Viber, among others.
To add these buttons to a website, users must access the Templates section from the WordPress Admin and select the “Floating Buttons” option. Here, they can add a new button by choosing from several pre-designed and customizable templates. Each template allows for customization of content, style, and position of the button and chat box on the page.
Elementor Pro offers a variety of Floating Buttons templates and allows you to set display conditions to determine when and where buttons will be displayed. Free Elementor users have limited access to templates and cannot set display conditions, but can set the floating button display for the entire site from the WordPress admin.
To activate this feature, users need to enable “Flexbox Container” and “Floating Buttons” in the Elementor dashboard. They can then proceed to insert and customize their template from the Templates section in Elementor, adjusting the options in the Content, Style, and Advanced tabs, and finally publish to define the button display on the website.
